A Successful Interplas 2011

Negri Bossi enjoyed a very successful Interplas exhibition and. General Manager, Carl Futcher, said; "We were very pleased with the number and quality of the enquiries at our stand and we would like to thank all the prospective and existing customers that took time to visit us.”
"Despite the current economic turbulence there was an air of enthusiasm amongst our fellow exhibitors with the business opportunities the exhibition presented. With almost 9,000 spectators attending the event and 300 businesses exhibiting we can only say that it was indeed a successful Interplas 2011."
Often, during an exhibition, exhibitors report sales during the show but rarely are these sales initiated and concluded entirely at the show. However, this year Negri Bossi SpA offered an additional discount for orders placed on the stand and Mold Systems took advantage.
The company ordered a 430 tonnes Canbio machine at the show following up on the installation of a 270 tonnes model in 2009.
Mold Systems is one of the leading toolmakers in Europe. Based in the north east of England the company has nearly 40 years experience and supplies mainly into Health care/Medical, Packaging/Caps & closures and niche automotive with specialist knowledge in areas such as 2K, In-mould decorating.
Craig Ward, Marketing Director of Mold Systems, said; "This will be our largest machine and is a step up from our current 270 tonnes model. The purchase is part of an investment which includes a large 5-axis milling machine in order for us to manufacture and test larger tools, which has been driven by our automotive customers.
The last time we needed a machine, Negri were very flexible and as such able to offer us the correct package at that time. As a consequence of this, combined with the fact that we have had absolutely no problems with the first machine, we looked at them again this time and once again they were able to come up with the best package for us."
